Lucas Is Still The Man

This picture was taken yesterday, so we know that he is still alive and well writing and producing and hasn't been put in the Head Museum from Futurama yet.

Texas Frightmare Weekend

I went to Texas Frightmare Weekend about two weeks ago. It was such a blast, but I was so busy with other junk, I just now got a chance to upload my photos and post about it. The photos are up in my photo section at www.myspace.com/ericshirey. Lots of cool pics of people I met. The one I posted above is of grown up antichrist Harvey Stephens. He played our little devil Damien Thorn in the original Omen film. When I met him, I told him I had to shake hands with the devil. Haha - bet he hasn't heard that a million times. I talked to Jason Lively (Rusty Griswald from European Vacation) quite a bit about what he's been up to in the last few years. He was a really nice guy. The reason he was at TFW was because he was in the cult zombie classic Night Of The Creeps.

Tom Atkins (The Fog, Escape From New York, Halloween III: Season Of The Witch) was there, as well. Very cool meeting him, as he is in one of my favorite ghost story films of all time - The Fog.

I also met the subliminal demon face lady from The Exorcist. I found out she was also in one of the most under-rated TV shows ever - the Planet Of The Apes TV series. She was a little off-putting to me. I asked her where lived and she answered "Hollywood". Who says they live in "Hollywood"? Come on.

I hung out with Ed Neal (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Future-Kill, Power Rangers) to get to know him a little better, as he is going to be a guest at IndyFest in May. Very fun guy.

I also ran into Russ Cogdell from ZAO, who I've known for years. I never expected to see him at TFW in a million years. It was good catching up with him a little.

I found a vendor that sells My Bloody Valentine t-shirts, which is pretty cool. They were also giving away free TFW / Prom Night bags. Very cool.

I also got a chance to see Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Star Trek: Generations, Heroes, etc.), Dee Wallace Stone (E.T., Cujo, The Howling, etc.),
